Default Just wanted to say...

I just wanted to tell you guys that I'll be leaving for two days at a camp with no technology allowed, so I won't be able to post. I'll be back on Sunday night, and I might have time, but my family will probably be too happy to see me to let me do anything else. Then I'll be somewhere else until Friday and I don't think I'll be able to post from there, either.
You have been informed.

Have fun!

Wow, even chimps got technology. You won't just be unable to post, you'll be unable to tie two sticks together.

Maybe she just means no communication technology. So no writing, no speaking words, no hand signals...

If there's no technology, maybe it's Cave Camp. Will they teach you to chip a flint hand axe and rub two sticks together?

More basic than that. How to use a stem to extract ants from a hollow tree. Yum. Yum.

No, with only two days they have to cram as much development in as they can. She'll probably be up to the invention of the Wheel by the time she goes home.

Jeez! If they can do that in two days, in two more days they might split the atom.

No fissionables at the campsite.

I'd bet that someone will sneak a cell phone into that camp. Teenage kids with no cell phone for two days - no way.

I'm leaving in an hour, but I squeezed in time for one last BAUT session.

Actually, it's theater camp. I'll write scripts on notebook paper. I could bring a laptop, but I don't have one, and I'm more comfortable writing by hand anyway.

You know... all these "Can't post", "Can't log in" threads popping out recently.... you'd think it has something to do with someone who has almost 50 posts per day.

Come on, post something and get banned for two days

I think you were thinking of Civilization Camp. I went there over the summer. The last day was the most fun- they showed us how to launch a satellite!

How can we miss you if you don't go away? From the time stamps on your intervening posts, it seems you never left.
