We are announcing a tie between Bad Astronomy Blog and Climate Audit, so there will be two winners in this category. Both blogs agree with this decision. We thank them both for helping resolve the issues that affected this poll as voting closed Thursday.

The contest, in the state it was in some time before the polls closed, was just mentioned on Dr. Dean Edell US national medical talk radio show.

The pretty skeptical and mostly scientific doctor didn't mention the specific contestants -- did categorize some as about science and others about antiscience -- but used the issue to discuss the lack of significance in web polls, and the apparent existence of organized campaigns to influence poll results.

So, how pretty is the BA's sister?

(Bonus points to anyone who gets the reference.)

It's like kissing your sister? Didn't know that was an obscure reference.
