Hey, we had it all the way!

Now, the question becomes, will the Patriots go 19 - 0?

Go Cowboys!

Tom Brady is great! Give him a second and he can throw the ball and he's got the receivers to catch.

Give Tony Romo a season or two. He may become a heck of a QB too.

I believe this year may be the best chance for a team to go undefeated. I can't see anybody but the Pats beating Indy so Indy keeps winning the rest of the season forcing New England to keep winning to stay ahead. It could end up at the end of the season with New England at 15-0 and Indy at 14-1. The playoff seeding would be set but I would think New England can get themselves excited for 1 game to get a perfect season. In previous seasons, a team would have the #1 seed after 12 or 13 wins. I think that makes it tough for them to play all out to win another 3 or 4 games just for history. The Pats may only need to do that for 1 game so I think it is more possible this year.

Will we see an undeated and a winless team in the same year? If not both, which is more likely?

The Lions have doubled their previous season win total. At 6-2 - do they have enough to go 7 - 9 and break their single season win record for this millenium?

On general principles, I think it's easier to get an 0-16 team than a 16-0 team. Especially with the garbage games at the end of the season, injuries, and so on. Hey, in general it's a good deal easier to lose than win!

The Lions have been amazing. I think they're going to get to 10 wins as Kitna predicted. The Packers and Browns have also exceeded expectations. There are a lot of teams in the opposite position this season (Bears, Bengals, Jets, 49ers... and a lot of others), so it's nice to see some doing unexpectedly well.

A sports commentator wrote this, but it's worth quoting anyway: The Lions and Packers are 13 - 3 so far. Admit it, you wouldn't have been surprised if they were 3 - 13, would you?

No, the question is, "Can the Broncos suck much worse?"

The answer, I fear, is yes.

As it is, they suck so bad they're a hazard to aerial navigation. It's a good thing the FAA establishes a temporary flight restricted area above stadiums during games. I'd hate to be flying over a Broncos game and get sucked into the vortex.

Well, I'm a Browns fan, which apparently is much like being a Lions fan. I'm not use to them winning--of course they're hardly playing quality opponents. And they're not really a threat...but at least there's promise. Of course, that's what we say about the Browns every year... when they got their team back, they shoulda just gone ahead and changed the name to the Cleveland Maybe-next-years.
