It snowed last night, but now the sky's finally clear for the first time in a week! And it may last until tonight! I'll take that trade-off.

The weather is really beautiful here. It is about 55 degrees with the sun shining bright and very little wind. A quite nice day near San Antonio.

We're having a so-so day here in Tucson. 60 degrees, partly cloudy. Had to wear a light jacket when I went for a motorcycle ride.

Absolutely beautiful day here today after living in the deep freeze for the past week. We're currently at 4C, and I was just outside wearing a sweater.

I love chinooks. Can make my job easier come middle of January.

Hi, Yes Sir! That crap is heavy for it's weight!!!! I finally got it clear to pass on each side of the cars. I'm breathing heavy now, but at least that's done.
The sneesh is clearing now. Temp. is 30° and dropping. So is the shoveler.
Best regards, Dan

Your wife skis wery well. That's the way to enjoy snow.

As kids ...teenagers...we used to wear our heavy boots and pack down the trail of sticky snow ....several hundres yards....and bank up the snow on the curves. Once it froze, we had a luge for sleds.....Flexible Flyers they were called. What a ride though.....what a ride!

Warmest temperature here today was a balmy -2 c, but still no snow. Or, for that matter, clouds.

Thanks! Of course many other variations are possible, not all of them pronounceable:

40% snow, 60% sleet, no slush = SNEET
67% sleet, 33% slush = SLEESH
Starting as slush, turning to sleet, turning back to slush = SHEESH!
75% slush, 25% sleet = (never mind)
75% snow, 25% sleet = (never mind)

No snow here either but lots of clouds. Looks like I've getting my third or fourth brown Christmas (non-white Christmas is a rarity here) and I'm 31. The previous one was last year. Coincidence?

If you are thinking GW, it's the opposite here. It NEVER snows here- but the last few winters it has. Hasn't yet this one though.

But it feels like it's thinkin' about it...
