Default Just saying G'day

Just thought I would say G'day as I have just joined the site.

My name is Tony, was quite active years ago until Ham radio and scuba diving started taking all my time.

Now, as health issues have reduced my diving somewhat and radio hold few new challanges, I have been stung by the space bug again.

I have an 8" dob, a great library and have been catching up on a lot of forgotten stuff with the help of Stellarium and living in Canberra have access to some dark sky, once the weather breaks and the cloudless night return.

Other interests include sports cars, I'm on my third hot WRX and Bow hunting. Ny son and love those bright stary nights after a days hunting.

Having found astronomy cast only last week, I downloaded them all and am working through them, upto episode 40 and going strong.

I have tried a first question to see how that goes, before I make a complete fool of myself. Though wan't is matter, I could be a dog for all anyone knows.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself.

Tony

Hi Tony. Nice to say G'day. Welcome to the forum, and good show with your Dobson. Nice gear.
Best regards, Dan

Welcome aboard! I moved the thread to our open discussion area, where it should get more attention.
