Meh. I'll believe it when I see the reviews.

Here's an alternate view. No, not really.

(warning, although the linked strip is OK the rest of the comic wanders into NSFW/pottymouth territory).

Just saw the vid (sound didn't work on the GamersHell site LINK) and it looked pretty good.

Like Moose - I'll wait until the patch...

Needless to say, if they can pull it off after all the hype and disappointment, the game will never be forgotten.

I hope they keep it 'inappropriate for some audiences.'

I'm not sure you understood what I was saying.

I mean I'll believe DNF exists only when it's dropped, and some people I trust have actually played it. At this point, I feel that caring about whether it's going to be good or not is exactly like wondering who's the better psychic: Sylvia or Uri.

I got it - I just wen't a step further.

My recent experience tells me that NO game is worth playing until its patched - because its not complete until then.

DNF has been "under construction" for so long, that I'll only believe its actually finished when I see the patch (not merely for sale in a retail box)...

...and I'm all outta bubble gum!
Ah, Duke3D accounted for so much of my free-time Freshman year. Loved makeing custom maps and playing my friend in deathmatch (back when you had to dirrectly dial eachother's modem, no internet support). I use to spend study hall doodling ideas for new levels.

But I'm not much into first-person shooter's anymore. Only reason I'm rooting for this to actually make it to shelves is so it can officially be the longest-produced video game ever.
