Posters are banned on a case-by-case basis. No one is prejudged. Even Bart Sibrel could post here, if he obeyed the rules.
I wasn't implying otherwise I was just curious if there was some defining moment that might be kind of funny to the rest of us.

Is there a possibility of being unbanned? I actually enjoyed reading AgoraBasta's posts (for example) and can definately see why he got banned (although his 2 posts were seconds apart), but he seemed to be very active on these forums and contributed much more than I ever could. Would an apology do anything or are all bans for life? Just curious, that's all.

BA has pretty much said no to unbanning. I'll find the thread and put in a link.

Here.

Like the BA said, civility counts. Posters like yourself, the other Sitchinites, ETUFO supporters, ExpErdMann and so forth can continue to debate your respective topics because you do so in a civil manner. The BABB would be kind of boring without against-the-mainstream posters.

It doesn't look like John McCartney/Stella Jones were actually banned. They're still listed as newbies.

Guys, I think it's something with the software - some posters are banned and do not appear to be.

I'm pretty sure you would have no luck trying to log in as John McCartney

Look, finalyul, you want to know why you were banned? Look at the last sentence in your post. It's that sort derogatory and discriminatory comment that will get you banned.

Edited for clairity.

Take a close look everyone, this here is a living, breathing, endangered species, the Yul!

Pretty appropriate place for you to post Yul.

I don't think he ever left. I am not surprised if he has at least one other name on here so he can at least see what we are saying about him.

So, what if Dunash says that he isn't yul? What then? I guess it's just up to the BA to decide who's who. I wish him luck!

I don't think you have to have a name, just to read the BABB, though.

Pi Man: I think the BA can ban IPs. Unless he has a rotating one...

Kilopi: You don't need a name to read, just to post.
