Here's one: The sole surviving member of Captain Kruge's Klingon crew in "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock" was John Larroquette of "Night Court," et al.

Tom Bergeron, host of "America's Funniest Home Videos" and "Dancing with the Stars," was in two episodes of "Enterprise" - I believe the only two film acting gigs he's had.

I was fairly shocked when seeing Bob Saget's stand up routines after watching him on Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos. Same thing happened after seeing George Carlin play Mr. Conductor on Shining Time station when I was younger.

When I first watched House, I knew I recognized the lead actor from somewhere, but it took IMDB to discover that it was from his completely different roles in the Blackadder series.

along with Tom Wilson and Malcolm McDowell with the same roles from the games. The Wing Commander games were some of my all time favorite games, though I liked I and II the most (before the actors even got into it). The animated series was so-so, but I remember it because it was Wing Commander.

Also, Michael Caine.

Oh, I could write you a lengthy list of people who, based on their filmography, have never turned down a paycheck. Some of them, I can understand it, as they've never played major roles, but seriously. Some actors need to learn that they can say no.
