Funnily enough, the first time I saw "Scrubs," I said, "Hey, that guy was in 'Clueless'!"
![]() Just the other night I was flipping through the channels and found some 70s flick. The scene in question was a group of schoolgirls (high school or college), one of whom apparently had some kind of psychic abilities. I thought one of the other girls kind of looked like Daryl Hannah. Got online to do some checking - it was "The Fury," a 1978 Kirk Douglas movie, and Hannah's first credited role. ![]() Also, I was surprised when I realized the Mac guy from the TV commercials was the nerdy fan who helped save the ship in "Galaxy Quest."

De Forest Kelley and Bill Shatner were both on Bonanza before they were on Star Trek!
David McCallum was in an episode of The Twilight Zone before he co-starred on The Man from Uncle!

Not goofy, or an actor, but the last time I watched "The Adventures of Robin Hood" [1938], the TV station uncharacteristically ran ALL the credits afterwards---there, playing 'Captain of Archers', was legendary (among archers) sportsman Howard Hill.
Will be looking for his role tonight when TCM runs it again (6PM).

I found out this weekend (going walkabout on youtube) that George Cloony was in Facts of Life for at least one season. And man, he looked weird and out of place.

One of the many, many things my movie project has taught me is that one should never be surprised at anyone's filmography. Such as Bill Bixby's appearance in The Apple Dumpling Gang or Harry Morgan's appearance in anything that will give him a paycheck, apparently. (Ditto Christopher Walken.)

Speaking of "Turk", I always think I see the woman who plays his wife "Carla" as background/minor characters in a lot of things...and I'm always wrong. I guess all middle-aged latin actresses with curly hair look the same to me *shrugs*. Or there's just one that looks similar to her that is in a LOT of things.

Seen them? Not so much. Clooney was on Roseanne? As who, and how did I miss that?

DeForest Kelley had a bit part in the movie Raintree County, where he played, appropriately enough, a Confederate officer with a broad southern accent.

I was channel surfing the other night and came across 'Geronimo' starring Chuck Connors.
Unfortunately for my understanding of the plotlines, my attention was completely transfixed by the sight of Adam West as a cavalry officer. I kept waiting for him to pause, half-turn to the camera and say, "What fiendish devilment is the Riddler up to now, old chum? Quick, to the BatCave!" The fact that he didn't completely ruined the film for me. 1.5 stars only.

My wife also enjoys watching the old series of 'Bewitched' - I recall seeing Adam West make a guest appearance in that as well (along with a heap of other contemporary and later well-known actors).
