No, Windows mobile pocket pc. PDA?

I have an Acer N30

WM 2003, 32mb rom, 55mb completely damaged though. Speaker, headphones socket, stylus is partly broken. Um, overall kinda messed up. But still works, time to time it restarts.

I have an old Compaq IPAQ 3955. I still use it to do odd jobs. I also have a GPS receiver that plugs into it to use with aviation navigation software. I'd like to replace it with a more capable unit but have not gotten around to it yet.

You can get little linux PC modules small enough to fit into a pocket. All you'd need then is a frogpad or wrist keyboard, a nice set of HUD glasses (or whatever they are called), a way to power it, and you're set. They also have solid state hard drives these days, you could probably get a 2GB drive about 3 inches across for a hundred dollars or so.

I've got a ViewSonic V37 that Microsoft gave away free with my MSDN subscription a few years ago. I pretty much only use it to play games on long flights. Its a pretty good computer for the size and weight; it runs my NES emulator playably, and the battery lasts a good 2.5 hours even with the CPU load from the emulator.

My phone is running Windows Mobile 5 too, so its kind-of a pocket pc without a stylus. That is handy for me because I can write my own games and apps for it.

Got one too. Indispensable little gadget. Made me give up my Franklin planner.

I have a Palm and a Toshiba pocket PC. I still use the former sometimes, but not the latter.

I have an old Palm PDA and a HTC TyTN/Hermes PDA phone.
I upgraded my Hermes's OS to WM6 which is much better than the older MW5.
This phone/PDA is the best (in my opinion and for its age, newer versions have GPS), I get all the phone, PDA and "PC" functions in one package.
It is not perfect, as it is I can't use the touch screen but the up side is all the features and the fact that I can upgrade the software, add more application OR switch the OS to a small Linux OS dwarfs all the cons.
