Default Crawfish Boil Tonight

We've got 180 lbs of mud bugs and only about 50 people. There should be enough people, but you're invited to help finish off the food including potatoes and corn. They's a lot of creepy crawly critters around here that need eaten.

oh man, we've got leftovers. we fed in all about 60 people but needed another 15 or so to eat all this. Lots of people didn't have the stomach for 3 pounds. Plus the keg of beef filled us up pretty fast.

Anyone want to help me haul off the carcasses today?

The Pizza in a Cup place drove the Keg of Beef guy out of business.

It's been a long time since I've had crawfish. Mmmm, crawfish...

Uugggggh!

It's been quite a while since I came across a reference...could have waited a few more years for another.

Your friends can have my share of "mud bugs."

I'd help eat the corn and potatoes, but don't want to even see people eating crawdads. {{shivers}}

Just think of 'em as bite sized (fresh water) lobsters.

cock roaches of the water.

Keg of beef is what happens when someone slips up on typing an order, and the entire guest list is disappointed.

Real cajuns suck mudbug claws and legs.

Nadme's post reminds me of a Good Eats episode where Alton and a male friend are enjoying raw oysters on the halfshell, with lemon, Tabasco, and a little cocktail sauce. AB offers some to a passing female, who turns up her nose and forms a "Yeccch!" expression on her face. AB and friend smile since this means more for them

the claws are a lot of trouble. I'd have to be pretty poor to go for that meat.

Yeah, I spent a spell in Louisiana. Been there, done that. But enjoyed the tails more than the heads, seconded only by the veggies cooked along with the crop.
