Default Wireless Router - Help!

I'm looking into buying a wireless router, and I have no idea what sort of specifications I should be looking for. Can anyone help me out?

I don't want to spend more than $100. I live in a three bedroom apartment and I want it to reach each room. I'm not sure if it matters but I have a Mac laptop.

Thanks!

This guide has ten wireless routers listed. I like the second one (the D-Link), because I have one on my desk now, and it's easier to set up than others I've owned. Costs a little more than a hundred bucks though, I think.

Thanks. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Linksys.

I just ordered the Linksys WRT54GL yesterday. The L in GL stands for linux, as it has linux firmware on it, and you can replace the firmware with custom linux firmware. The custom firmware turns the router into the equivalent of a high end corporate firewall/router, and allows you to tweak just about every setting imaginable, from boosting your wireless output, to increasing security. Best of all, everything is configured through your web browser, so no knowledge of linux is required.

Since it's a networking device, it will work with your mac without issue. Any of the routers will actually.

Hope that helps!
