Smile Hey Neverfly! News From The Land Of Sunlight!

NEVERFLY!

YOU BEING STUCK WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE, I THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN UP TO IN THE WORLD OF THE UN-BANNISHED!

WENT ON A NATURE HIKE TO A POND WHERE BABY WESTERN TOADS WERE EMERGING. THEY HADN"T DISPERSED TO THE SURROUNDING COUNTRY-SIDE AND WERE "WATCH YOUR STEP" THICK. ALL A HALF INCH LONG.

All this practice and now I can go longer before my fingers get hoarse.

THERE WERE SO MANY BABY TOADS I WAS LOOKING FOR ERRANT PHAROAHS! BUT I DID GET BIT BY A TICK! AND I HAVE COME DOWN WITH A VARIATION OF A COMMON TICK BORNE DISEASE!

I SEEM TO HAVE DEVELOPED ROCKY MOUNTAIN SPOTTED OYSTERS!

(I'm sure Ron Brak or Grant Hutchenson can list the route of cell compromise, prodromal symptoms, and likely course)

IT'S ALREADY TOUGH TO WALK UP AND DOWN STAIRS AND RIDING A BIKE IS OUT OF THE QUESTION!

ANYWAY, I LOOKED UP WHAT YOU ASKED ABOUT AND IT ISN"T THAT BAD FOR A FAMILY TREE TO HAVE SO FEW LIMBS! NOT AS DAMAGING AS ONCE THOUGHT! THOUGH IT DOES BLUR SECONDARY SEX CHARACTERISTICS LIKE HAIRY BACKSIDES ON WOMEN! YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED THAT AT REUNIONS!

Okay, I'm winded! Whew!

Gewd gawd, you're obsessed with him. Why are you trying to make his banning not really a banning? It's become an act of defiance against the banning, which, itself, should be a banning offense.

Aw, you're taking it in the wrong spirit Del!

I'm keeping him involved AND I get to sneak in insults you don't seem to get, get.

Don? I have to echo Delvo and Sarongsong. It's not good form to call out a suspended poster who cannot, after all, respond. It's also a bit over the top to be creating multiple public threads for what is, after all, a monologue.

You wouldn't, after all, whittle scrimshaw using the control surfaces of a Sidewinder mounted on an F-14, right? (Although that would be cool in ways I couldn't begin to express.) Email's the right tool for this one.

Well now!

Normally in such circumstance I'd just suggest that when when a thread in this series came up, you click on the thread above or below it.

BUT, as it seems we have a movement, I will cede to the will of my fellow BAUT'ers.

This was every bit as much for Gillian as it was for Nev.

I'm going to pout now. And kick rocks with my toe.

No need for sackcloth and ashes, or anything, Don. It's not a major faux-pas like asking the Pope to pull your finger or anything, it's just, you know...

Okay, maybe I am hornswaggled.

Making sure Neverfly returns to Capistrano is a good thing. But is BigDon
actually slightly off his nut, or has he just been affected by all us other
weirdos here into acting weird, himself?

In what way would Gillian have an interest in this?

What is this finger-pulling thing about? I've heard it referred to for years,
decades, but I've never seen or heard what happens (or is supposed to
happen or whatever) when the finger gets pulled (or attempted to be
pulled). What is that all about?

Basically, the victim pulls the finger, and the prankster breaks wind.

That's the second time in the last week or so on this board that somebody's asked for clarification on the whole "pull my finger" gag.

I thought everybody knew that one!

As juvenile as it is, it's surprisingly non-obvious. I finally gave up and asked, myself, just a few years ago.

Actually, I didn't visit BAUT at all during my entire hiatus.
I did take on a larger workload, which will continue this upcoming week and it's highly likely I will still be scarce... Plus all the catch up reading I have to do which I will likely not bother with.

Unless someone has some fine recommendations?

Don't let the grumpy's grind ya down, BigDon
I appreciate the thought since I didn't catch any of the insults

Ok, so here's a Neverfly post again. I'm sure I could make it a better one. Except that I'm about half brain dead and can't think of anything good to say. I can't even think of anything bad to say.

Maybe I should just go to bed and call it a day...
