I plugged "Uri Geller,SRI" at Youtube and I saw some interesting videos with experiments with Uri Geller at SRI,interesting stuff!! as far as I am concerned the man is GENUINE!!

I have had my own experiences with ESP and they were successful.

I read a book many years ago called Superself:The Hidden Powers Within Us.
Written by Ian Wilson.

He is correct the KEY that unlocks latent abilities is "without conscious effort". I think ESP/anomalous cognition comes to people in different ways:visual,intuitive hunches,dreams,"small inner voice"...

I am interested in experiments done with the Chinese and Russians

Funny thing: I used to take ESP claims fairly seriously back in my teenage days. The trickster Geller, and Puthoff and Targ (so-called SRI researchers) were some of the key reasons I became an ESP skeptic. I remember reading exchanges between Martin Gardner and P&T, and was shocked at the willful lack of rigor in their research.

I'd have to practice at this point (it's been quite a while), but at one time I could break a key in half while another person was holding both ends.

no the KEY is not physical..the key is WISDOM and an OPEN MIND

I have had 3 pairs of dice correct in a row!, horses( trifecta, quinella on 2 diiferent races before the race began,..and they were correct!!,cards shuffled it then face down, I relaxed and it came to my mind " 7 Diamonds" I ignored it and it came to me again..and was 7 Diamonds.!!

the key for me is WITHOUT CONSCIOUS EFFORT...and it comes as a "small inner voice". It's a bit like trying to remember a phone number or the name of someone from say 10 years ago..is it a "word" it comes you when NOT THINKING ABOUT IT!

I think with ESP(Anomalous Cognition) there is more to it than the subconscious..it's a spiritual thing.

I have not had these experiences for such along time but I am being honest, if you don't believe me that's not my problem..

Most of us think that Uri Gellar is genuine, too. A genuine what is something we can't say on the board.

I've earned more than my fair share of beers in pubs from being able to "bend spoons' a la Geller.

It's a cheap trick, although it looks awesome to someone with 4-5 beers in their belly. From that aspect, it shares much with the rest of Geller's output.

Paul, I'll be Good Cop for a minute. People like Uri have learned one trick and perform it over and over: making the money in your wallet disappear.

If you want to find a real psychic, get one who will demonstrate his abilities in front of a good magician, preferably one specializing in close-up magic.

There's nothing unfair about this. If a guy claims to have a 200MPG carburetor for cars, you have him demonstrate it in front of a good engineer, to minimize the possibility of fraud.

& that reminds I stuidied psychology(at Uni) and thats not reality..it's black and white generalisation,some people KNOW what they are talking about it comes from experience which you don't HAVE...and that is REALITY!
