Actually it's Sigurd1 and Fafnir based on this 14th century wooden carving.

As far as I know, St. George is normally shown slaying the dragon with a lance.

Depends on whether it's silver or surgical steel in the rings.

An MRI scan might be problematic in the latter case.

I had to take out my belly bar and hair clips etc for an MRI and they even ask about tattoos, which I do have and not small ones either, something about them heating up!

I remember that being a topic of a show, though whether it was mythbusters, braniac or another similar I can't remember.

The problem is that the main black pigment is iron oxide, which was shown to distort the readings very slightly, but they couldn't get it to heat up as the myth had said would happen.

No mine never heated up, plus I didn't need the MRI on my back or thigh it was on my knee, I was scared when they mentioned it though, the thoughts of spontanious human combustion flashed through my mind!
I could of told them that.
