The story of that animation is quite amusing. Creationists paid money to Michael Edmonson to create it to promote the anti-science movie Expelled and it ended up making scientists look cool. After all, the scientists are rapping and have a giant robot that wears a baseball cap.

It's still funny in spite of that.
I hadn't seen the BA's blog entry about this yet.

It does come off as pretty anti-science. But you've got to admit the quality of production. I still thought it was pretty funny. Simpletons can keep making videos and Dawkonians (If I may, and probably may't) will keep progressing the world and providing avenues of technology for these simpletons to produce this stuff.

Most commenters in the BA's blog thought this was a pro-science parody. Others said "Who cares whether it's pro-science or pro-ID?" I tend to agree with the latter.

I enjoyed the talent behind the video, but the more I read BA's blog comments, the less I agree that the video was going in one direction or the other, but instead was parodying the whole issue.
