Unfortunately for Eric, his lady doesn't play golf and she traded the cart in for a Smart Dishwasher instead.

I didn't meant the "Car" , it's the "Sweater".

No, we take turn getting new toys. I got a Kawasaki ZX-14 last. Before that she got a Mercedes. Before that I got a Dodge 3500 diesel.

What's surprising about the smart is how big it feels inside. Janet has ordered some blue body panels and is converting it to a "Dory" car.

Dory.. Is cute.
The car on the other hand...

Well, they've been around a couple decades at least.
I knew neighborhood kids that had one when I was a kid...

ETA: Sorry Eric...

Runs on juice or soda, and gets "up to something" six times per teaspoon. I'm not sure what that translates to in mpg.

You might be interested to know, Eric, that the SmartCar posted the same 0 to 0 time (0sec) as the Ferrari Enzo in an independent short-track test. A very impressive result, really.

Unfortunately, so did Nev's kiddie car.

Yeah, but $300 buys what, a gallon of milk and some cat food, right.

St. Pauli and root beer - hey everyone, party at the Marsh house!

But seriously Eric, what kind of mileage do you get?

We've been pulling down 36 - 40 mpg. But she's not broke in yet.

That's pretty descent. And I'm not surprised there is a break-in period. When I got my Ford Escape hybrid I decided to keep track of my mileage. The first two months showed significantly lower mileage - I don't have my spreadsheet in front of me, but IIRC it was at least 2 or 3 mpg.

Non-Alcoholic St Pauli.

Lots of pet food (and cat litter) though!

I can tell you that fuel consumption is extremely high if you calculate it in l/100 km/4 persons (I´m too tired to calculate this in miles/gallon): You need two (2!) of these cars.

And there´s no way to take your two best girl friends to the beach, let alone their children
