Default Ares I block II

This is the complete rebuild of my Ares I rocket:

With the non scale fins I am assuming it is a model rocket that is intended to fly.
If so, make sure you put enough weight in the nose to bring the CG well ahead of the CP

I have never seen such fins on NASA conceptual artwork. It must be an earlier design that was superceeded by the latest one.

Like you said ealier, it's deigned to fly as a model rocket.

This is a video of Block I launching. it was just a single stager. On the lower section, I tried flying it with clear fins, which easily sheared of. You're also correct in that I based that part on an earlier design.
