Who do know a good space (simulation) game? freeware?shareware?
I still using very old games as Shuttle, Buzz Aldrin race into space but very good games. under this you can download games for free! I don't know more spacegames that's fun or good. I hate space simulator of microsoft.

http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?name=Shuttle very good shuttle simulation, still most realistic till now! every buttons(as in real!) in this game works! I played this a lot when I was young.

http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?name...Race+into+Space a simulation game that you can develop rockets, research, send astronaut etc to win a race; get to moon as first. but it's hard but cool game. i am looking for more spacegame like this.

I am now trying this free game, Orbiter http://www.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/~martins/orbit/orbit.html

Try Celestia http://www.shatters.net/celestia/

Trust me, it's pretty spectacular - you can even create your own planet fly-by movies and slap them onto DVD

I 've got a game called moon lander. I got it with a package with a space encyclopedia, so it might not be shareware. It was fun for a while. It got boring after a bit, there is only so many times you can land on the moon, but it was fairly realistic.

What I like about Sci-Fi games is that they foment the need to get humanity into space. Most people say "yeah, it would be cool", but then do nothing to help us get there. If we could get all the sci-fi fans (the respectable ones, at least) to write their politicians, things would get done.

We should visit the Sci-Fi game boards, become popular, and help encourage people to become active (as well as be active ourselves).
