Today my class was watching a Video tpe about searching a Black Hole in a center of galaxy... in that video, they mention the galaxy NGC1275, well what actually is NGC means? and about the black hole in this galaxy, is that true there was more than 2 of them?

NGC stands for New General Catalog, which was a catalog of non-stellar celestial objects, including what we now know to be galaxies, globulars, gas and dust nebulas, planetaries, and other clusters. The word 'New' seems quaint now, as the catalog was created in 1888.

NGC 1275 is two colliding galaxies, and there probably are two super-massive black holes there. Here's a link to the Hubble Heritage images and description of it.
