I am a curious sort of fellow. So when I was told that in 'Youtube' there was some interesting stuff about the Apollo 11 mission, I went to it and had a look around. Aargh ! What I thought I was about to view as my PC downloaded it was the original footage of that missions half way there report.
NO. What I found was the worst bit of miss-information I have ever herd. The article was largely about that famous image of the Earth from about halfway to the moon. The date card shows the correct date and time. This voice over narrative must be the most misinformed piece of rubbish I have ever seen and, wonder how a well educated person could come to such stupid conclusions. At one stage the narrative suggests that the out of round Earth was due to the size of the window. Being viewed from the far side of the space craft... I would invite you to go look at this and welcome your responses. Be warned though. I will be reading the replies and will be jumping into print if any agreement is found with this nonsense.

Heh heh, you should wander over the CT forum a little more. PhantomWolf has a great debunk site for that same video. I think it's the same one. Lot of similar elements. It's part of Bart's line of Truth(tm).

Astromark, I agree. It is bloody awful. And totally transparent. I only watched the first two minutes before I gave up.

The voiceover tells us what the conversations are about, but they only play back very brief snippets (i.e. they only quote material when it is safely out of context).

It was total nonsense.

I tend not to visit the CT forum in case my head explodes (I do not suffer fools gladly).
