Default NASA has recorded the starsong.....

Saw this claim on ATS. Sounds completely bogus to me but I thought I better check with the experts.

"...NASA has recorded the starsong of each now-known planet in the Solar System, and has stated that there appears to be a note missing from the Solar Music Scale--right where a planet may have been located prior to Noah's flood...."

ATS...? American Thoracic Society? Australasian Tunnelling Society? Advanced Telescope Society? Or maybe Association of Theological Schools?

Neither Google nor Smithsonian searches turned up anything on it. I know they've made sound of the Sun but I don't think the method used there can be used for a planet - it involved fine measurements of the sun surface which, like the surface of a bell if you could see it close enough, vibrates to the acoustic waves propagating inside.

Planets, either solid or gaseous, would not have that effect. In both instances I think the atmosphere would absorb any potential ripples that could be detected from space.

Then you have the whole issue of how they'd know there's a note missing? What scale are they using?

I'd think any planet (unless dead) would have awhole range of acoustic effects going on - how would they pick out the basic tone so they could know whether or not it fit into whichever scale they picked?

My guess? Bogus claim

It's a home for conspiracy theorists. (The World Government let's them gather there, so they'll all be easier to catch when the big roundup occurs.)

It could be a numerology thing. Use the orbital periods of the planets to
define audio frequencies, and you get a sequence of notes. Music of the
spheres. The idea has been around a while.

Maybe a Fibonacci sequence? I've seen some books relating Fibonacci to musical scales.
