That was a harder question than I had thought. I found this site, which indicates the speed is 8 m/s.

Tee hee....8.0m/s = 28.8 km/h (multiply by 3.6, 1h = 3600s, 1km =1000 m)
18 mph = 28.8 km/h (multiply by 1.6, 1 mile = 1600 m (approx) Pete ***Edit, I just realised that Ara's post said slower than ~18 mph What I read was "I thought it was slower: about 18 mph" (instead of 8 m/s, which obviously are the same) Sorry Ara
