Default Bipolar Ejections of Quasars from Galaxies

My first astronomy related research project is complete! Here is the "paper".

    Abstract:
Question of pair alignments of quasars across galaxies is considered. It is assumed that the pair alignments are ideal bipolar ejections, i.e. that the pair is ejected simultaneously at the same velocity from exactly the opposite sides of the centering galaxy. A model is derived based on those assumptions, and known pair alignments are run through the model. Some statistical tests are performed. Most of the pairs don't seem to be ideal bipolar ejections, but few pairs give good results. Possible application of the model for jets of galaxies and stars is noted.

Any comments are appreciated, be gentle.

P.S. I know this should be posted to "More from Arp et al." thread, but I would like to keep this in separate thread because I might want to be able to link to it later.

Good job, Ari. You are going about it the right way. I suggest you work on your writing skills. I do not mean that as criticism, just a suggestion. Communicating a good idea is as challenging as inventing it.

Thanks, Thanatos! On writing skills, I agree. I'm not very happy with my document in that sense. It has to do with writing in foreign language, having limited knowledge about the subject and indeed the writing skills.

Any suggestions are welcome also on bad language and presentation style.

Ari, I won't get a chance to read the paper today, but I'll print it out tomorrow and get back to you. It looks interesting. Thanks for posting it.

Take your time dgruss23, there's no hurry. Thanks for the interest.

Hmm... I wonder if I should make more printer-friendly version of the document, a PDF perhaps. Well, perhaps some day.

And I'll probably need to take my time. I'm coaching my daughter's softball team, running off-season open gyms for my basketball team and then my youngest daughter is playing T-ball. Not to mention I'm getting students ready for an AP Chemistry exam.

Unless it gets cut at the margins when its printed I wouldn't worry about putting it in PDF right now.

That's what you get when you get a life. (I had no idea what T-ball is, so I had to google a bit, and now I know.)

I won't. I'm going to see how much corrections are needed first.
