Default Stop Dissing Lake Placid!!!!!!!!!

Aw, cmon!!!! How can you not like Lake Placid?!!!

It was a brilliant monster fest like Eight Legged Freaks, Tremors or even Gremlins! Clever dialogue, decent special effects...

On the other hand I like my cheese... and Scifi has made and shown some great cheesers...

Sabretooth! So bad it's good..

King Cobra- I love the whole Pat Morita scene where he keeps getting bit over and over by the giant snake. Sure, sure, they explain why the venom doesn't kill him... but what about blood loss? What About internal organ damage from those gigantic fangs?!!!

Crimson Farce on the other hand wasn't even cheesy. It just stunk. I think the only good part was C. Thomas Howell getting beheaded. After all the bad B Movies he's made he owed us a death scene!

Word. I liked all those movies.

Now Crimson Force look so mind-numbingly lame from the previews that I was not going to waste my two hours of my life watching it. My time is valuable to me, and I can spend two hours much better by sleeping, eating, playing Halo 2, posting on message boards, and other things that contribute to my personal betterment.

As for the stuff CF ripped off, I noticed some stuff in the previews highly derivative of Total Recall, namely the whole eyes-bugging-out-when-exposed-to-the-low-pressure-Martian-atmosphere gimmick.

Is it wrong that i want to go to the local video store and hire out all of these movies and watch them?

I know they are bad, most likely horrible, but what is it about them that draws me to them like a moth to flame? Do i have some sort of innate self-destructive desire whereby if i feel pain i somehow know im still alive?

Nah, I think i just want to laugh until I pass out

Its a shameless ripoff of a bad movie in this horrible one.
What!! You didn't like Descent? Are you mad? I spent years watching Star Trek: NG hoping that Wesley would get killed. I would even pay attention in re-runs in the faint hope that Wesley might die. Then I watched Descent, with a dream that Wesley would die: He did. DWD!
Except for the pesky fact that Wil Wheaton wasn't in Descent.

The movie he is thinking of with the kid from Star trek is "Deep Core," and it is too stupid for words.
