Yep. Fox has the sole television production rights to the Firefly intellectual property and they have steadfastly refused to sell them back to their creator or to another network willing to continue the show. They have also said that Firefly will not return to Fox in any way shape or form (though we'll have to see if the tune on that one changes if the movie does extremely well). |

IF there are sequels, then it can't go on T.V. until 1 year after the last movie. The actors will likely have moved on by then. Now, I've seen the movie twice now in an un-finished 'early' preview state. If you like Sci-Fi, then you should really like the movie. Even if you weren't completely keen on the series. |

At least one of the actors, "Jain", has already landed a semi-major part in a new crime series. I don't recall the name of it offhand. It is a bit creepy.

We talking about Adam Baldwin? (no relation to the Baldwins) I dig his characters too, and he probably got the best lines in Firefly. Though personally, I'll always remember him from The Cape. (Anyone else remember that Post-Apollo-13-attempt-to-cash-in-on-NASA-realism? 8) )

Is that the one about the shuttle crew? Different mission every week? I used to watch it all the time when I was ten years old!
