The website for Encyclopedia Britannica lists Bad Astronomy as among "the web's best sites" to dispel misnomers. Now that's class! [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

A friend of mine is a retired science editor for Encyclopedia Britannica. He's invited us up to his house overlooking a lake, in the woods, miles north of Sutter Creek, CA tonight to view the Leonids. (We went there last year, and it was fan-tas-tic!) (I have a 9 a.m. meeting tomorrow so it will be cafe latte time in the morning.)
