Default Brian Greene on the Colbert Report

Tune in now...or catch the rerun tomorrow night.

That's the one, and he was very good. Held his own against the manic and somewhat unpredictable Col-bear.

Steven used Occam's Razor to argue that the creationist position was simpler and therefore likelier to be right. Greene countered that Physics actually had evidence to back it up (he mentioned QM's prediction of the electron's magnetic properties, accurate to ten decimal places).

Yeah, Colbert really was more restrained than usual with Brian Green.

You can watch the video online for the next few days at The Colbert Report

Care to elaborate?

You do understand that The Colbert Report is a comedy show, right?

Yes its a spoof--but the host seems to have more of an interest in science than Jon.

Of course, I've been watching the Comedy Channel for many years. I thought Colbert, with his faux conservative attitude in high gear, walked all over Greene. The imperious Carl Sagan would have put him in his place. On top of that, it wasn't particularly funny either.
