Yep. Its stuck in my head because it was sampled by FSOL on one of their tracks along with a couple of other lines from the movie.

THE SWARM is correct, Roy!

A George M Cohan-worthy thought from the end of the credits :
The African killer bee portrayed in this film
bears absolutely no relationship to
the industrious, hard-working American
honey bee to which we are indebted
for pollinating vital crops
that feed our nation.

**sniffle...sniffle** God bless our bees!

Anyway, you're up Mr Batty.

I love bees... couldn't eat a whole one, just an Eric, a half a bee... no!!!

Arrgh, That was a complete educated guess. It sounded right for insects & I thought ants at 1st but it just sounded like a Michael Caine line! (please tell me it was Michael Caine?). Even went googling for it but no luck... so now I have no quote... please give me no more than a day & I will come up with one (mental note.. do NOT guess when have no quote!)

Yes it was Sir Michael, just after BRIDGE TOO FAR( ) and just before BEYOND THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE( Irwin Allen must have had blackmail photos on him or something!). Unfortunately, it's impossible to render a text quote in his singular vocal style.

But, but; 'Billions of 'em... that's a vocalisation if I ever saw one!

And I have seen the film... but preferred the one (after? before?) with the VW driven into the stadium then cooled

ok, mostly sci-fi, some horror but best I can come with at the moment.

Ok, a clue. It involves psychic abilities. That should cut the suspects down some!

I will ignore it as long as it doesn't lead to Pam Anderson's Oscar.

On topic, I probably shouldn't guess, since my internet service has been flakey. But what the heck: is is Cube?

Not Cube, but you've entered the right ballpark with Scanners ggremlin.

I'm "furious" that it was not Scanners; I should now spin someone to death!

Hmm, now that you mention it, are you sure you're not thinking of the right film? I remember heads exploding in Scanners but not any spinning...which my one does have. Though it's been a while since I saw Scanners.

Edit: Oh doh I just noticed your "quotes", yes ggremlin... very good!
do you want the floor? I had kinda been hoping for some more guesses along the lines of Fire Starter or The Power before you got it

"The Fury", of course. For some reason, I can only remember Amy Irving from the movie.

Let's see, spinning reminds me of this one that been running lately.

Mystery Star:"Control, but they don't have any weapons."
Control :"You are ordered to fire!"
Mystery Star:"The Hell with you!"

"Running Man", hosted by the great and evil Richard Dawson.

Yalius, that must be a great Internet hookup you have and a sailboat no less.

Over to you.

Eh, I wish I could spend more time out there.

Anyways, here's my little contribution:
