Thanks for the set up, Tobin Dax. I should have solved that one on the first quote. I don't feel too bad, though, since my wife -- the true Farscape expert in the house -- also didn't recognize the source until the "Pip" quote. And for the record, it should be Crichton, not Creighton. I looked up Chiana's name to get the spelling correct and then frelled that up. Oh, well.

Here is a new quote. I've checked and it doesn't seem as if this has been used before, although the source has been discussed on the board in the past.

Quote:
I've been alone on this planet so long....fifteen years.

Looks like it's time for a hint. Here is someone talking about the person in the first quote. These are from a TV series, by the way.

Quote:
We don't know anything about the guy. I don't trust him.

I'm going to guess, out of the blue, does the title of the movie start with an "F".
No idea why I said "F".

Actually, it's not a movie and there is no "F" in the title. If my 6-year old (who is missing his two front teeth) were to say the title, it would sound like there was an "F", though, if that's of any help!

Another quote. This is from the first character again and should be a dead giveaway for the few who watched this show.

Quote:
I want the same thing you want, poppet -- to fly away home.

Poppet is making me try to think of something, but I can't put my finger on it.

It doesn't fit with "poppet," but I'll make a WAG based on the information before that: Stargate SG-1?

No, not Stargate. This series didn't last very long. It had some potential, even if it was overly melodramatic. The show benefited from a dash of curry.

Off the subject, but wouldn't Tim Curry be great as The Doctor?

All right, here goes:

Wouldn't it be a kick. The only guys on a world filled with love-starved women.
No F's in the title of this, either.

This is a TV series roughly contemporary with the previous answer. It got cancelled as it was going downhill. It got resurrected and got worse.

Nope. Maybe that description wasn't too helpful.

What about "Einstein-Rosen-Podolsky bridge"?

Not a problem, Tobin Dax -- I've been a bit out of it the past few days, too.

Here is a slightly paraphrased quote from a movie I saw the other day. Because of my past employment, it spoke to me.

Quote:
Leave the USGS before it takes your soul!
It was also a slightly ironic quote because the actor who spoke it once played a famous blood-sucker. And yes, I was slumming it this weekend.

That would be "10.5: The uncalled for and totally pointless"; and yes I was slumming too.

That would be the one! The USGS line was what kept me watching.

Your turn, ggremlin.

I agree it was the best line in the disaster, the special effects made me long for the first one and I wished they had upped the whole thing to a 12.

OK, here is a classic, Class A:
