i don't know if it was in the first season- probably not- but have a box of Kleenex handy when you get to the episode about Leela's parents, and also the one about Fry's brother and his lucky 7 leaf clover. but have a whole crate of Kleenex handy when you see the one about Fry's dog..

is it considered a "spoiler" if most people have seen it, i really don't give anything away, and it motivates someone to buy all the shows to see what i was talking about?
