Yeah. Up to the "struggle" part it's believeable, but beyond that... no, just no.

You know, I read this comment last night and I didn't get it. Now I'm sitting here watching The Princess Bride, the intellect contest part was on about five minutes ago, and I just now went 'Aha!'

Didn't he say "Iocane powder, I'd bet my life on it"? I ask because my automatic reaction whenever anybody says they'd bet their life on something is to think some variant of: "Your terms are acceptable to me."

I'm not catching your reference. I know I'm paraphrasing something (I think G0-T0 from KotOR2), and I think that was paraphrased too, but I don't know from where. Someone fill me in?

[Edit: Google suggests Dunharrow in the LotR series.]

Heroes visit exotic place where somebody's relative is an explorer. They find out that the person has been kidnapped and have to save them.
The first two Cluefinders PC games followed this format. As well as numerous TV episodes.

That's why I'm remembering a deep, ironic, and ominous reading for that.

Thanks.

The Farmer was "Edgar" which is why Tommy Lee Jones asked later if that guy looked like he's wearing an "Edgar-suit", though it sounds lid like he says "egger-suit".

As recall, the actual line was a variation on "You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers".

I have to get a copy of that sometime. That and the second one (which I haven't seen yet.) TLJ is a lot of fun.

Actually it was ""Your terms are acceptable to me", which translated in MIB to "Your proposition is acceptable" and bingo "Edgar suit". Sorry for the confusion.

Why I don't watch many zombie movies:

It doesn't matter if you're an Olympic marathon runner. Zombies shambling along at a lesiurely walk will catch up with you anyway.

Mentioned before? Cop goes undercover in a prison and before going in the Captain says "You realize we can't protect you in there," and the red shirt says "I can take care of myself."

And the people who say they can take care of themselves are always the ones who get captured. Especially if they're female.

"I'm coming with you."

"No, it's too dangerous."

Now what are the odds that both will end up going?

And if you tell your little brother/sister/niece/nephew that they can't come because it's too dangerous, they'll hide in your luggage.

When a woman gets angry at a man and starts physically attacking him, does it ever NOT become a makeout/sex scene?
