Yeah...although it's been mentioned before I'm glad to see there's some science-fiction being offered this summer.

'Sunshine' is coming to the US on July 20th!!

Which trailer did they use--the new extended one or the older, better one?

I'm really looking forward to this movie, actually.

Thanks for the heads up! I will definitely see it.

And it's about time [most of the junk Hollywood cranks out, grumble grumble]!

imdb.com links are quicker to download, at least on my computer.

Maybe it's time all those threads were merged into one mega Sunshine thread.

Yikes! This movie has been discussed to death! Gia and the BA have each weighed in a couple of times.

The only thing that could add new life to this discussion would be if either Danny Boyle, Alex Garland, one of the actors, or Dr. Cox came on BAUT to discuss the movie. The odds are heavily against any of that happening, IMHO.

I really liked the movie. There were a few questionable issues with the science, but I thought it was a good flick. The FX were absolutely breathtaking!!!

My big gripe was the the hokey ending, and the insane (undead?) Icarus 1 captain. It de-railed the plot for me.
