Default The movies are bringing new revolutions in the field of technology, art, social issues

The hollywood film industry is on the top, besides the world class film industries are rapidly changing but there are very rare films on the astronomy and space.

The current movies are reflecting the things on the a. exibition of all facts on one screen.

Not all, but the motto of director who is making movie is understandable.

1. The techniques of the current movies are enhanced with a new photo technology
2. The script writing is very much delighted and good one
3. The stunt parts , and other information, tourist information, other tourist spots of the world can be seen on the screen
4. The comedy and other plots in the movie teach something to the spectators
5. The films which are based on the science are technically very fine, the sounds like Dolby, seven track, fifteen track etc. the novelty can be seen in such movies.
6. The court part, the social problems of the families are shown in the movies, most of the movies are covering the sentimental parts in the movie and are popular for the family to see the good things and messages for the families on the screen.
7. The definition of art is frequently changing today, now there is one thing added into it, that is called modern art, the movie is being added with number of artistic events into it, the art of song, the art of dance, the art of sculptures are seen in the movies, today the director and movie makers are forecasting properly that "what the audience are exactly looking for".
8. the choices are the unique of film spectators, but movie become popular when the mass goes in a particular direction, the result of box office, the counter crowd, the rows infront of movie theatres, shows the popularity of the movie, name and fame.

In short today's films are full of "multidimensional aspects by adding the "new masala" into it. (masala=stuff).

I particuarly like TV shows where the heroes travel around a bit and when they arrive in a place, they'll be a smart person who'll give a little bit of info about the place. That's how I got away with watching Scooby-Doo and the Legend of the Vampire and calling it reasearch for a trip to Oz that I was taking.

Six days here and I've already made a friend. :-) The world's a swell place.
My mom didn't think it was research, though.

Hmmm...sounds more like Bollywood than Hollywood. I did like Lagaan and Monsoon Wedding however.

But concerning the overall quality of movies, the trend seems to be toward more cartoonish CGI, mindless action, recycled plots, and content (what there is of it) aimed at very specific, quite limited demographics. Plus sex, violence, car chases, and explosions are added as if per a chemical formula.

Which is why today's "mark your calendar because this movie opens on October 32nd and it will be the most significant experience of your life" movies are found a few months later in the $5 DVD bins.

One can only hope such movies are having little to no impact on the arts and society in general. What they have to do with technology and social issues I don't know. They certainly don't get science, including astronomy, right.

thanks for your notable reply maksutov, very nice. In the hollywood movies when they banged with the indian theatres, the spectetors here, first of all welcome the movie with great "whistles" by mouth, the whistle's sound frequency is larger than the movie's auditions in the theatre. In hollywood movies they found lot of stuff on one screen, hence the business of hollywood movies is greater in the indian theatres. Bollywood is just sometime do an imitation of hollywood, but today they are also entering in the Hollywood, in the movie like Bent like Bekham, Mira Nayar's movie, gurinder chaddha's movies etc. Recherd Gere, William Smith, tom cruze are famous actors in india. Today the film industry of the whole world is facing accute problem of video piracy, because when the film releases the people have their own choices in the market available in their home cd gallery of duplicate cd(s). Going on, this the world, they are doing their business very smartly. Because they want daily money.

And I know that you can't trust Wikipedia, but according to their Scooby-Doo article, Sagan liked it.

Wouldn't surprise me, since the Scooby-Doo Sagan would've seen would've been the original series, before it sold out and had actual, non-faked paranormal stuff in it.

people look at the movies "just like a popcorn", they see it, taste it and throw it ( means they later book another movie tickets)

Slightly off topic joke-
How I proved the law of time travelers not being able to give info about future events
"I was happy to help you shoot this series. I wouldn't be surprised if they're still talking about it in the year 2000- and seven! And, Dr. Sagan, since we're friends, I think I should tell you that Darth Vader is Luke's-"
A paint bucket fell on my head and nocked me out cold.
And that, my friend, is why spoilers are bad.

Thanks for the reply, as i have already seen the old theatres before 30 years, and now looking the multiplexes, where i found a crowd of hi profile people who like great sound, (dolby,7track, etc), they just want good print quality on the screen,(movie is not a matter for them), they just come and see the different techniques like man flying, fighting in a slow motion with a hitech machines, big ships, big planes, big helicopters, etc. even the concept is changing more faster in the theatre to show the movie, they just hire the movie direct from sattelight and they show it on a large screen instead of making the show on that old big tape rings of movies on the projectors. They can edit conclude something like boar ads on the screen by giving computer camands.

What would be the movie shows in the year 2050 ? It is beyond our imagination, I think the nanotechnology can give the answer of it. (in one smallest cheap there will be a full movie of 3 hours), no need to handle the large tapes, just insert in one camera and get a larger picture on the screen, do you think that large telescopes can show better movie on large screens !

Just a guess, but maybe there won't be as many "movies" as we know them made then, but people will watch (and interact with!) stories in virtual worlds
that come into their head on a string of optical fiber. Maybe by that time computers will be fast enough to render worlds nearly indistinguishable from the real one, including smells, good tasting food and things I can't write about here.

Well, they said TV would kill the movie theater, they said VCR's would (they wounded it, but it still lives), and ditto for streaming video. I think 50 years probably isn't enough time for VR to do it.

Nice avatar, Skeptic J. Reminds me of Kida from Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Movie theaters have a bigger picture and better sound than most people can afford to have at home. When this isn't the case, and your VR deck streams input into your head that makes IMAX look like Hi8, why go out to the movies? Sure, there will always be some people who will want to do it the old way, like people who listen to vinyl records instead of CDs or off of a hard drive, but the latter have all but replaced the former.
