Default Daleks and the BA

I sent this to Phil several weeks ago, but I guess it didn't make the cut to make his blog. I actually spent a lot of time getting the textures right ~sniffles~

DALEKS EXTEEEEEEEEERRRRMINATE ALL SOFT COVER PUBLISHERS. HARD COVER BOOKS ARE SUPERIOR. DALEK PUBLISHERS ARE SUPERIOR.

OBTAIN THIS HUMAN'S BOOKS. THEY ARE AS OF DALEK.

OBEY.

I wanted it to look like it had survived millennia so the original version had hinges and rivets, like some arcane tome, but I thought that was a bit much...

Skaro was destroyed in Remembrance of the Daleks (and, again, in the Time War) so I'm not surprised it doesn't exist.

So is the Dalek holding the book with his sucker-stick? That's gotta be rough on the pages.

Of course he's holding it with his plunger. I did that as a visual gag, poor daleks, have to read around the sucker. That's why it's the hardcover edition, which will come out sometime in the distant future.

And I thought Skaro was destroyed more then twice, but I just looked it up on wikipedia and it says just the two times. (we are talking about a show with 3 different depections of the end of atlantis, and at least twice showing the earth's sun going nova at different times)

The Doctor, he could start a comics company then.
