I was pleased to see NBC News cover the National Academy of Sciences' release of their new publication, "Science, Evolution, and Creationism" (http://www.nap.edu/catalog.php?record_id=11876) last night. They gave it a good five minutes, a balanced presentation of course with a response from a creationist. But they clearly stated the theme of the publication, that evolution is well established, useful for fighting disease and other problems, and that creationism is not scientific and doesn't belong in science classes. Good journalism to recognize the importance of the release.
