What I would leave off:
Final Mission: Good Picard moments, but Wesley must die. The Loss: As a disabled person, I find the whole idea that a non-empathic Troi could consider herself disabled disgusting Q-Pid: after a run of good Q eps, back to the crap. Devil's Due: Feels as cheesy as the original series, which isn't surprising, since it was originally a script for Roddenberry's unfilmed Trek follow up Half a Life: Some positively wretched astronomy, a tepid David Ogden Stiers and Lwaxana (gag) Troi. Weird to see a pre-Ro Michelle Forbes getting all sobby.

i've always like "the Nth Degree"..
but of course, Barclay is one of my favorite TNG characters for some reason or another.

In my opinion, the 4th season was the starting point in which STNG truly became a great series. My three favorites were:
#415 - First Contact #403 - Brothers #419 - The Nth Degree The Nth Degree was my favorite Barclay episode. |

I actually like Devil's Due, though more for the concepts than the acting. Definitely can see the rather cheesier side of it. The Drumhead was good but I thought they were trying to channel McCarthy a little too hard.
I like haunting style stories, so Night Terrors is my pick for the best. I would have to add Best of Both Worlds to the final list.
