Two out of these three movies are a stretch to call horror, though they do contain many of the proper elements.

Agreed, little or nothing to qualify any of them as Horror and though they all share some science fiction elements, they are all definitely light on the science and mostly fiction.

I wouldn't consider "Watchmen" a horror movie and I haven't seen "Event Horizon"

Event Horizon. It had an extremely sinister premise that genuinely frightens me.

Jurassic Park! But EH did scare the crap out of me
