Base on what I know about BB... BB is the beginning of the Origin of the Universe and the first person that propose this idea, I mean the explosive universe was George...something. How this guy came up with the idea, well it's basically the redshift thing. What cause everything expanding... dark energy. What is dark energy? A bunch of danger substance with + and - charge. Well BB theory, in other word is imperfect theory... sorry dunno much about the specific detail.

Hope this help

twZ, there have been several topics on the big bang. Use the search engine above. Or use the Web Resouces in the question and answer section.

Hi twZ,

I am moving your to posts to the Questions and answers sections, as they are clearly Q&A, and not "Other Stories". Also, I agree with Tinaa, on this topic there is plenty written much more clearly that you'd get as an ad hoc answer from a forum member. Just search the web. You'll get explanations with pictures.

So what's the context of your question? Want to know from the start, discussed it in a class, saw some report and want the next stage of info.... I could help you dig up something, but do I dig deep, or shallow?

I doubt it will ever happen again, but who knows.

I have reason to believe that there will be another big bang. According to hypothesis, the universe is expanding as you read this. Scientific evidence proves that there is not an infinite amount of any thing. At some point, the mass we live in must stop moving. Where will it go?Which way will it move? My theory is that it will begin to enclose. It will then be crushed, and collapse like a star. I am further reasearching my hypothesis. Thanx!!!

Stop moving relative to what?

My theory is that it will begin to enclose. It will then be crushed, and collapse like a star.

Really? As you read this, the universe is expanding, but the expansion is accelerating. It would appear your theory is not based on observations. One must begin to wonder exactly what your theory is based?

I am further reasearching my hypothesis.

Ok, but don't quit your day job.

<_<

Yeah, Humble, do a bit more research. It was proven through observation - albeit very recently - that the universe began an acceleration starting 6 bya that still continues today. Scientists and astronomers believe this is the work of a mysterious force called dark energy.

Thinks are not always what they seem. Just because they say that there was a big bang and that everything in our universe today was created by an explosion doesnt mean its the truth. Think about this what if our universe is matter spewed forth from a white hole?

i believe its been shown that the universe will expand forever until all matter is torn apart atom by atom and the universe turns into a very dark and very cold place....kinda like my wife's $%#@^

 The trouble with this idea of the ever expanding and exelerating universe is that it makes no concideration of the other mater. The stuff we havent yet detected. Comming this way at an ever exelerating, expanding rate.
Well it might be true...
