It seems that certain threads in the Questions and Answers forum have become alternate posting areas for ATMers. Maybe these portions of what started out as real science-related Q&A threads should be moved to ATM?

Otherwise persons coming here looking for meaningful answers who happen to read those threads first will find instead fanciful loops and circles of speculation, may conclude that this forum contains nothing but unsupported fringe material, and may leave, not to return.

Agreed! For me, at least, trying to explain basic physics to people who are more than a little hazy on the concept gets real old real fast. That is why I usually avoid ATM.
