Default 3 Questions about a (manned) Mercury landing

Hello ,i have some questions about a (manned) landing on Mercury.

1 Why is a landing and a walk on Mercury so dangerous?

2 When Mercury is at its greatest distance from the Sun (aphelion) will a landing on Mercury completely safe then ,because it is at its farthest point from the Sun?

3 What will be the difference between landing and walking on the Moon and landing and walking on Mercury when Mercury is at (aphelion) greatest distance from the Sun. Do you have the same radiation and heat of the Sun then? Or a difference in Solarheat and radiation.

Hi Denis12,

I have closed this thread. I will open it again if you explain to me why it is in any way new or different from the previous thread you opened here, and the similar thread you opened in the unmanned spaceflight forum. BTW, I'm sure you already know this, but Mercury is very hot in the daylight.
