Wow...cool. 8)

Do you anticipate, ToSeek, you will get to upgrade your 80 billion galaxy extrapolation from Hubble's UDF image?

Yes, I've been waiting for this one, too. I've been told by those who have seen it that it looks great!

Hubble's deepest view ever unveils earliest galaxies

10,000 galaxies in image, image is 1/12.7-millionth of the sky -> 127 billion galaxies.

Wow! You only had 80 billion last month. 8)

What is your prediction for next month?

We may have a contest going on with your estimate... SpacemanSpiff is using a 202 x 202 arcsec field for his 131 billion galaxies. The Deep Galactic Field Marshall may resent any unfair census.

Spiff's Est.

Is anyone willing to make a more educated guess (post Hubble data) as to the number of baryonic galaxies are there but too dim for Hubble?

Should I go ahead and order in more sand for our beaches?

It may take 10 years, but just wait till JWST gets going!
