Default Columbia hills approaching: b/w and color animations!

Here it is a couple of interesting animations I built: currently they cover Sol 106-129 and Sol 106-123 periods, but maybe I'll update them without changing the filename, so they'll cover different periods if you read this post after 15th may, 2004:

All downloads are ~1MB each one.

I noticed that dark feature too. A monolith, maybe?

It's not alone! In the last frame you can see A LOT of similar features; I suppose thy'll be more visible in next sols.

New version of approaching hills animations is available (2.3 MB).

It covers sols 88-147.

P.S.
The animation represents ~2500 meters covered in ~3 seconds.... this means that it's like you are travelling toward Columbia hills at approximately 3000 Km/h !
