X Prize is up soon, right?

But, BA alert: the CNN article mentions, not once, but 3 times, that the sub-orbital flight will be leaving the atmosphere.

While I'm sure if I was lucky enough to be one of the passengers, I wouldn't want to step outside and breathe, I think the atmosphere extends a bit past the 62.5 miles.

Yeah. But it's some kind of official definition that space begins at 100km. But that's somewhat arbitrary.
