Default Mars rovers, and the Martian moons. Is there any pictures?

After looking extensively on the JPL website, I've yet to find any pictures of the Martian moons taken by the rovers. My question is, have the rovers ever tried taking pictures of the Martian moons? Are the cameras on Spirit and Opportunity sensitive enough to give us decent pictures of these moons as they would appear if we were standing on Mars, and looking up at the sky? If this is the case, then why haven't we taken any pictures of the moons yet?

I did manage to find a picture of one of the rovers looking up in the sky at a cloud formation, which I found to be pretty cool, but it does leave something to be desired as well. It would be a beautiful scene to see both moons off in the horizon at dusk or dawn provided that their orbits are close enough together. A truely alien scene that we'd never be able to experience here on earth. So what gives here?

If it is possible, maybe we could convince jpl to snap a few shots of Phobos and Deimos. It would certainly make a great wallpaper for my desktop.

I believe they have in order to more acurately pin down the position of these moons. The uncertainty in their orbits approxamately matches their diameter, so if we were to try to send a lander (orbiter would be very difficult, if not impossible) we wouldn't quite know where to send them.
Let me see if I can rustle something up...

ToSeek was ToSeeked?

Does this mean something bad is going to happen?

Not so! I just provided additional information - there are three eclipses on my link, just one on Galaxy's.

Nah, it happens occassionally. Its the third highest honor on the board, right behind winning the "I corrected JayUtah" t-shirt and the "Kilopi Limit" award.

Hmmm. . . If not for the vast time difference in the 2 posts, I'd almost have to claim this as a "nice try" effort to save you rep TS!

As it is, I guess you're free on due to prepondurance of the evidence. . .

I'd still like to see a better view of the Martian moons, than the pictures taken in the eclipse, but I guess I can't have it all.
