Default Save the Apollo launch tower

I've been watching Save Our History: Apollo, on the History Channel. During the commercials I went to their website and saw a link for an online petition to save the Apollo launch tower. I thought some here might also be interested in signing!

Too late. Not enough funds were raised in 2004 and NASA resumed the final stage of the demolition process in March of that year.

The EPA strikes again.

Oh [expletive deleted]!!!! Why do they leave the petition up then? To dash the hopes of those who would have liked to have saved the launch tower? I'm not happy about this at all.

I thought the thing had been torn down already. We had a thread. But since i didn't know the show was that old, I thought it was a different apollo launch tower. ops: Actually I thought it was the tower itself, I thought the thing they trashed was the launch platform. i.e. I don't keep up.
