NASA has just scheduled a news conference for Tuesday at 2 pm EST at NASA HQ in D.C. The normal rover news conference had previously been set for Thursday. They will be announcing 'significant findings' at that news conference. Scuttlebutt suggests that they will say that there is liquid water (in 'brine') right there under the rovers' wheels right now.

Hmm. I'm getting mixed messages about this. I heard it was about a discovery by the Opportunity rover, but the evidence for brine seems to be with the Spirit Rover's site.

We'll all know by 3PM EST today. This is pretty exciting.
