Paris - Claims that life, or the potential for it, exists on Mars were boosted on Wednesday when scientists declared they saw the remains of a frozen sea on the planet's surface and speculated the ice may hold preserved organisms.

This is a very cool story. Universe Today covered it on February 22nd, though I think this version puts more emphasis on the potential for active life in this location than our story a month ago. The picture that went with this story was great.

I think once Mars express deploys its ground penetrating radar boom and gets to work scanning the subsurface that we'll find Mars is rich in water. The potential landing sites for new rovers, probes, and drillers will be some many that it might finally be considered time to send people so they can cover them all.
