Smile SSETI Express satellite launch

The SSETI Express satellite scheduled to launch at 06:52 UTC on Thursday 27th October on board a Kosmos 3M launcher. SSETI Express is the first pan-European student microsatellite, built by a distributed team of university students and radio amateurs throughout Europe (within SSETI), and sponsored by the Education Department of ESA and is due to launch from Plesetsk, Russia.

Next week, the two ESA missions Venus Express and SSETI Express will be launched, on 26 and 27 October 2005, respectively.
