Default How goes the nuclear space effort?

I'm reviewing my space page for the first time in possibly a year. I'm rather rusty on the latest developments, particularly with regard to propulsion.

I am sort of getting it or am I hopelessly in the wrong orbit with it?

I was thinking about Sea Dragon, and some folks suggested placing a reactor aboard a modified LNG carrier that would be filleded with hydrogen instead--broken down from Sea Water. Sea Dragon would get the fuel free--but the owner of the ship--in conjunction with the Nuclear Navy programs, would sell the LH2 for power generation and the like. Sea Dragon hulls are about the size and shape of the Neptune Spar--and the larger proposed Pelamis system of large metal boons that generate power from the ocean.

Profits would be made in Energy--and used to support Sea dragon launched SPS systems-which--unlike wind farms--can beam power to asteroids for deflection and other uses.

Thus space never really has to pay for itself right away.

Thoughts?
